A forehead lift reduces those frown lines around the eyes, minimizes deep creases across the forehead and bridge of the nose and lifts a sagging brow line. Smoothing the forehead gives you a bright, radiant appearance.
So what actually happens?
Our forehead lifts are performed in our state-of-the-art surgical suites under general or local anesthesia. It takes about two hours. You’ll return to the comfort of your own home to recover on the same day as the surgery.
A forehead lift procedure varies according to the patients needs, there are varying techniques used depending on the nature of the lift.
Typically your doctor will make a single incision in the natural crease of the upper eyelid or through several small incisions hidden in the hairline.

- Nerve damage
- Hair loss along scar edges
- Excessive scarring
What about after surgery?
There’ll be some bruising, swelling. Most patients are able to return to work within 10 days and are advised not to engage in vigorous physical activity for a month after surgery. Patients are also advised to limit sun exposure as excess exposure to the sun can reverse the affects of the forehead lift and makes scarring worse. The forehead lift is long lasting, if properly maintained by a healthy lifestyle.
