Perk up a Tired Face with BELOTERO BALANCE

The face is the first thing people look at when they meet you. It acts as a mirror of your health, confidence and whole self. So what do you do if you have a special event in a week’s time but your face is showing signs of aging and tiredness? Luckily, BELOTERO BALANCE® can help you eliminate wrinkles, facial lines and brighten your face within a few days of treatment. Our experts at eSSe Plastic Surgery highlight everything you need to know about this dermal filler.
What Is BELOTERO BALANCE®?
This is a prescription injection that temporarily smooths out moderate to severe wrinkles, folds and stubborn etched-in lines around the nose and mouth. The FDA-approved treatment makes you look younger while allowing you to maintain normal movement and facial expressions.
How Does BELOTERO BALANCE® Work?
BELOTERO BALANCE® uses hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. When these dermal fillers are injected into the skin, they stimulate the production of collagen which improves skin elasticity and boosts skin hydration. These dermal fillers also blend into the natural structure of the skin where they fill in fine lines, facial folds and wrinkles.
Who Is the Right Candidate for This Treatment?
You are the right candidate for this treatment if you are in good health and have the desire to deal with your wrinkles, facial lines and folds. This injection is not recommended if you have a history of anaphylaxis or severe allergies.
How Soon Can You Expect Results?
The results, which include smoother lines, nasal folds and wrinkles, will be noticeable immediately after your treatment.
How Long Does the Treatment Last?
For most patients, BELOTERO BALANCE® results last between six to nine months. Some of the factors that determine how long the results will last include the skin concern being treated, the area being treated and the number of treatment sessions you undergo.
What Should You Avoid after Treatment?
For approximately 24 hours after treatment, you should avoid heavy lifting and strenuous activity, exposure to heat and UV rays, and consuming alcoholic beverages. You should also avoid taking anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin, diclofenac, ibuprofen, and naproxen sodium as well as other prescription NSAIDs.
